My Grandmother (Father's Parents)


Step 1

On the family tree below click the shape representing your grandfather (your father’s father). A small window will appear with the Northern Pomo word for “my grandfather.” Click the play button to hear the Northern Pomo word being said.

Step 2

Use the recording tool in the small window to practice saying the Northern Pomo word until you feel comfortable with pronouncing it.

Step 3

On Worksheet 5 write the word for “my grandfather” in Northern Pomo on the “my grandfather” line.

(You can also fill in the names of your grandfather and grandmother on the “Name” lines!)

Now do Steps 1, 2, and 3 for your grandmother (your father’s mother).
