Lesson 4: My Brother & My Sister


Step 1

On the family tree below click the shape representing your older brother. A small window will appear with the Northern Pomo word for “my older brother.” Click the play button to hear the Northern Pomo word being said.

Step 2

Use the recording tool in the small window to practice saying the Northern Pomo word until you feel comfortable with pronouncing it.

Step 3

On Worksheet 3 write the word for “my older brother” in Northern Pomo on the “my older brother” line.

(You can also fill in the names of your brothers and sisters on the “Name” lines!)

Now do Steps 1, 2, and 3 for "my older sister," "my younger brother," and "my younger sister."
