Lesson 5: “He is my brother” &
“She is my sister”


Step 1

On the family tree below click the shape representing your older brother. A small window will appear with the Northern Pomo phrases “he is my older brother.” Click the play button to hear the Northern Pomo phrase being said.

Step 2

Use the recording tool in the small window to practice saying the Northern Pomo phrase until you feel comfortable with pronouncing it.

Step 3

On Worksheet 3 write “he is my older brother” in Northern Pomo on the “he is my older brother” line.

Now do Steps 1, 2, and 3 for "my older sister," "my younger brother," and "my younger sister."
