He would sing and describe your symptoms, then he made an image, replica, or facsimile out of animal skins of what you were supposed to have seen (that may have caused the illness). He would sing and dance with the rattle and go through a ritual, motioning to the person who’s sick. He’d talk to the illness and shoo it away. The ritual was done four times. While this was going on for four days and four nights, the people of the patient would abstain from eating certain food like fried food or grease or meat.
